Title IX Coordinator – Two Days

Description of the Course | Who Should Attend | Prerequisites | Upcoming Training Opportunities | How is this different from other Certification courses from ATIXA? | What does my certification mean?

Description of the Course

In light of the ever-increasing complexity of Title IX compliance, we have significantly updated and adjusted all five Coordinator and Administrator certification courses. ATIXA has shifted from a 4-day to a 2-day Coordinator and Administrator Level One course!

A More Modular Training Approach

After consulting with members and attendees and recognizing the overwhelming nature of a 4-day course, we have shifted to a more concise agenda. We simultaneously super-charged the four advanced Coordinator and Administrator courses, as well as the Investigator, Hearing Officer, and Due Process courses. After attending the two-day Level One Coordinator course, attendees can now select more focused, detailed offerings to supplement the foundations gained in Level One, to extend and expand their training, professionalism, and expertise.

We have also created a specifically designed K-12 Coordinator and Administrator Level One training curriculum. For our K-12 colleagues, please click here to access that course.

Coordinator and Administrator Level One remains the foundational course for all of ATIXA’s other Coordinator-based trainings. ATIXA recommends that all Title IX Coordinators and Administrators – whether new or more seasoned – complete this course, which is focused broadly on the role of Title IX Coordinators, as well as an understanding of foundational law, case law, regulations, and regulatory guidance.

Even those who have completed Level One previously will find this revised course to be of value, given the substantial changes to Title IX that have taken place since the course was designed originally.

Upcoming Training Opportunities

How is this different from our other certifications?

This course is designed as the first Level of Basic Coordinator Training. Advanced Coordinator Two-Day training options are listed here, which deepen a Coordinator’s understanding of the special topics selected for each Advanced Track option.

What does my Certification mean?

To obtain Certification from ATIXA, you will need to attend the whole event. It is our expectation that you are present for the entire duration of your training course.

Please allow 14 business days following the completion of the course and then log-into or create an account with our Continuing Certification Credit (CCC) program system. Please follow the instructions on the webpage to obtain your certification. Our CCC program allows those certified by ATIXA to track, maintain, and extend their professional development through our programs. Learn more about our program here.
