Curriculum Path

ATIXA recommends both K-12 focus weeks as a complementary training pathway because they enhance one another. However, each focus week and training session is equally effective on its own. Teams are encouraged to choose training programs that align with their professional needs, while recognizing that bundling courses can result in cost savings and accelerated learning.

Title IX Coordinator Foundations Level One: Compliance Essentials for K-12 Education introduces practitioners to Title IX’s core tenets for addressing sex- and gender-based harassment and discrimination within the school or district’s education program and activities. Title IX Investigation Foundations Level One for K-12 Education, when combined with the K-12 Title IX Fundamentals e-Training pre-learning, is designed to give K-12 Investigators the complete foundational training needed to understand the investigation process under Title IX, which can also be applied to complaints under other civil rights laws.

Informal Resolution for K-12 Education

This foundational course for K-12 schools and districts aims to familiarize participants with ATIXA’s Informal Resolution Framework and the crucial elements to consider when deciding if and how to offer informal resolution during the Title IX grievance process. It covers various topics, including the structural and policy choices that schools and districts must make and how each school’s culture affects those decisions.

Those attending a certification course will receive a certification for the course as well as recertifying credits (CCCs) for any current certification for a 2-year time period.

All our courses and workshops will receive a digital badge denoting completion.

The zoom link and course slides will be accessible 3 days prior to the start of your course. Please note you have access to the ATIXA Event Lobby from the point of registration through 3-months post-course and workshop.
