Hospitals with residency programs operated in partnership or affiliation with a medical school may have Title IX obligations pursuant to recent court decisions that determined such programs fall under the broad umbrella of “education programs and activities” identified by Title IX as subject to the statute’s provisions. 1P2P is a unified policy and procedure model for the resolution of all allegations of all forms of Protected Characteristic Discrimination defined herein involving all qualified Respondents. This model policy and the separate procedures below can be implemented by any post-secondary institution.
ATIXA recognizes that schools vary in size, structure, governance, capacity, and resources and has drafted this model to comply with all federal nondiscrimination laws and implementing regulations applicable to post-secondary education and employment. This version does not contain content specific to state or local laws or regulations that may be applicable. Each end-user should ensure that state and local provisions are included as necessary or may commission ATIXA to create state-specific versions.

Access 1P2P Version 6.1ATIXA’s One Policy, Two Procedures: Version 6 (1P2P) (2020 Regulations) has been updated to align more closely with the One Policy, One Procedures (1P1P) (2024 Regulations), facilitating smoother policy transitions to future regulations. Key changes include updated offense definitions with new terms for disparate treatment and disparate impact, clearer integration of Collateral Misconduct, refined descriptions of Informal Resolution approaches, and provisions for adapting policies in response to legal challenges to future regulations. The updated version also differentiates between Title IX Sexual Harassment and other discrimination forms and includes an implementation guide for customizing the policy.

It can be applied to students and/or employees, for the big five offenses only (sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating, violence, domestic violence, and stalking). AMPP has only a Section 106.45-compliant (Process A) model. It assumes users already have a Process B in place as an alternative when Process A does not apply.
