eTraining FAQs

A: Full certification courses are the best option for achieving certified status. Certification courses are composed of modules and assessments that allow learners to gain knowledge on specific topics, with the opportunity to become certified. Sections provide small pieces of training to fit any budget. Eager learners with more flexibility can create custom experiences by combining several sections.

A: Modules range in length from 15 to 45 minutes and provide the flexibility to pause and resume at your convenience during your three-month access period. Each section takes 30 to 90 minutes and consists of one or more modules.

A: Each certification course takes between 6-8 hours to complete.

A: To ensure you have the ideal training experience, we strongly suggest taking courses on a computer or tablet. Accessing and completing these courses is much easier on larger screens. Viewing on small-screen devices like phones can lead to difficulty navigating our platform.

A: Certification course participants will have three months of access to the eTraining course. Non-certifying content purchasers have one year of access from the payment date.

A: Our certification courses include knowledge checks and interactive, scenario-based questions throughout the modules, ending with a “graded” assessment. For non-certifying courses, there’s no post-training assessment, but there are interactive knowledge checks throughout the modules.

A: Completing the “graded” assessment at the end of a full course is not required for certification; however, successful completion will update your certificate to “verified” status.

A: The ATIXA store on the ATIXA website contains a course catalog. When you’re finished or taking a break from your current course, you can navigate to the store to explore more trainings that are available. Please note that additional courses will be added soon.

A: Individualized discounts are as follows:

  • 1st grouped individual – full price of registration
  • 2-4 grouped individuals – 15% discount on registrations
  • 5+ grouped individuals – 25% discount on registrations
  • Reach out to events@atixa.org prior to making payment for discount to apply.

A: We accept payment by purchase order, credit card, check, or ACH bank transfer. To process your purchase order, please contact accounts@atixa.org and arrange vendor paperwork.

A:  If you require help navigating your school’s or district’s purchasing procedures, please contact etraining@tngconsulting.com to explore options.

A: For certification courses, access your certification via your My ATIXA account. For non-certification courses, your certificate of completion should be available for download using a button at the conclusion of your course. If you need help accessing your certification, email events@atixa.org.

A: Your certification is valid for two years. You may participate in related courses, conferences, and events to maintain certification beyond this period. Visit our Continuing Certification Credits (CCC) FAQ page for more information.

A. Non-certifying eTraining courses and modules do not count toward CCC re-certification credits and also will not be visible on your My ATIXA page Event Transcripts.

A. There’s a few pathways to get to the eTraining portal:

We’d recommend that you make sure you are still logged into www.atixa.org (check the top right corner).

Copy the following link and then paste it into a new tab in your browser: http://etraining.tngconsulting.com/
(If you are already logged in to your ATIXA Account in that browser, it SHOULD open the eTraining portal to your course.)

If the above does not happen, you’ll see a “Magic Link” generator page.
Entering your email address should result in an email from noreply@tngconsulting.com, subject line “Log in to eTraining”.
Please note that the link in the email expires within 10 minutes!
If you do not see the email in your inbox, please check spam and junk folders.

Alternatively, you will find a link on the eTraining portal page that says “Login with username and password”.
This can bypass the Magic Link process and allows you to login to the eTraining portal using the email and password associated with your ATIXA Account.
