Amy Kittle, M.S., M.L.S.

Amy Kittle currently serves as the Title IX Coordinator for Davis and Elkins College and West Virginia Wesleyan College.

Prior to serving in this dual role, Kittle was the Assistant Director for Prevention and Education at West Virginia University where she oversaw and coordinated the university’s prevention and education programming as well as the University’s Title IX and DEI trainings for the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.  When she first joined the University, she worked as a Senior Investigator where she was responsible for conducting prompt, equitable, and impartial investigations of reports of all forms of discrimination and harassment, including sexual and domestic misconduct, for both employees and students.   Kittle started her Title IX career as a Coordinator for a small private institution where in addition to Title IX work, she managed the institution’s policy manuals and general compliance efforts.

In other professional roles, Kittle has served as coordinator for academic support, providing accommodations to students with learning disabilities, a high and middle school English teacher, and prevention educator at a rape and domestic violence shelter.  Kittle holds a Master of Science degree in Adult Education from Indiana University and a Master of Legal Studies degree from Drexel University. Kittle is the proud parent of two cats, a dog, five young adults, and one high-schooler. She is married to the love of her life and resides in beautiful Elkins, West Virginia.
