Brian is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that has spent the last decade working to build better systems and structures that support the positive growth and development of youth. In addition to providing direct service in a number of clinical settings, Brian has spent most of that decade with Chicago Public Schools working to address barriers to education impacting the students of Chicago. In that time, he has worked with the District’s Crisis Team to support the response to the loss of life and serious mental health crises, managed the District’s mental health supports and teaming structures, and has been involved in the work of the Office of Student Protections and Title IX since before its inception in 2018. Brian is now the Executive Director of Student Protections and his passion for building systems that have a direct impact on students, and those supporting them, has continued to grow.
