Executive Director, Systemwide Office of Civil Rights, for the University of California Office of the President, and umbrella office that encompasses the existing Systemwide Title IX Office, a new Systemwide Anti-Discrimination Office, and a new Systemwide Disability Rights Office. In this role, Catherine provides guidance and support in these critical civil rights areas to the 10 campuses, as well as the laboratories and medical centers, that comprise the University of California system. Previously, Catherine served in Title IX and civil rights leadership roles at Stanford University, the University of Virginia, and the University of Southern California, after 19 years with the Office for Civil Rights, U.S. Department of Education, the last five serving as director of the OCR Cleveland Office.
