Eric A. Kidwell, MLS, is the Title IX Coordinator at Huntingdon College (Montgomery, Alabama) where he is also Professor and Director of the Library. As the College’s certified Title IX Coordinator (a role he originated), Eric has oversight of Huntingdon’s policy on and processes for sex/gender discrimination and sexual misconduct, the development and delivery of its program of education and training, and leads the team that responds to complaints under its policy. Eric has over 35 years experience in higher education and has held a variety of leadership positions within the American Library Association, including the Association of College & Research Libraries, and Core: Leadership, Infrastructure, Futures. At Huntingdon, he has taught in and directed multiple first-year experience programs, one of which, the Liberal Arts Symposium, received a commendation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. In his life outside work, he de-stresses by putting his art degree to use, working out, and doing lots of reading and listening to music. Eric is a member of the ATIXA Advisory Board.
